What *specific* liquid would you use to coat them?
Do you spray the sp*rklers, or dip them?
Would you coat them individually, and then bundle them all together?
Would you bundle them all together, and then coat them?
Is there a minimum number required in a bundle?
Any other details?
Again, please be specific. Thanks.

Seal in thin aluminum foil.
You'd need more than a coating.
You;d need something to produce a 'gas shield' to keep the water from
drawing off the heat from the flame so they keep burning.
I'd experement witha base coat nitrate based laquer mixed with an
oxidizer
and say ammonium carbonate, covered with an outer coat of straight
laquer
for water proofing.
Never tried it, but it's a shot.
