Whitehall police are seeking help from the public in identifying two men
who allegedly robbed a cellular telephone store at gunpoint Wednesday,
May 8.

Two men entered T-Mobile, 3596 E. Main St., at 10:15 a.m., shortly after
two employees opened the store for business, according to Whitehall Sgt.
Dan Kelso.

The robbers accosted an employee who had stepped out the store�s back
door to take out the trash, police said.

Both men had a gun and forced the employees into an office, where the
robbers attempted to disassemble the store�s video equipment. They
forced the employees to open a safe and took an undisclosed amount of
money and 50 to 100 new Samsung cellphones, police said.

The robbers then fled through the store�s back door. Police have no
description of their vehicle.

Police describe one suspect as a black male in his mid to late 20s,
about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and weighing 180 to 220
pounds, with a �stocky build.�

He was last seen wearing a flat-billed white baseball cap with a silver
sticker on its top.

He was wearing blue jeans with a zip-up jacket and white hood. He had a
black and chrome semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect was described as a black male in his mid 20s to early
30s, about 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 180 and 220
pounds with a �slender build.�

He was last seen wearing a tan cap with a brown strap and a black
long-sleeve shirt with the words, �Government Chedda.� He displayed a
small black revolver, police said.
