GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC)- Georgetown County deputies are searching
for a man who they say grabbed money out of a Waverley Place Shopping
Center business cash register Friday afternoon.

According to a release, the incident occurred Friday around 1:20 p.m. at
a business located at 10517 Ocean Highway. The address is listed as
Pawleys Island Bakery.

Deputies say the suspect asked a store clerk for change. When the clerk
opened the register, the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash
and ran out of the store.

No weapons were used and the clerk was never threatened with force, the
release states.

Deputies say the suspect was a black male who was wearing a grey and red
stripped shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a grey hat.
