What does a cold snap in one corner of the US has to do with Global
warming/cooling? I'll help you out here- Nothing.
If you look at the global temperatues over the last several decades you can
clearly see we have warming.

By whom?

I am interested. I know of no empirical proof of any
corresponding warm period in the S.H. at that time.

Evidence showing warmth in the S.H. during that period are
matched fairly evenly with evidence showing cold.
