ok problem is.. i went to the community center in my city to pick up
my paintings and wallah! there it was the 'last supper' with
dyland... bb king, janis joplin.. hendrix... and elvis at center!
i captured it on the camera... problem is the cam was dropped
earlier trying to open the crappy casing to put the battery into it...
a great moment.. i never thought i'd get that close to the painting..
now i wonder... (i even took images of the person who did the
painting... on a peice of paper blah blah in scribble.... crap!)
well the images were lost.. (i had to fix the button... so when you
open the cam it loses everything that's how the micro cams that aren't
that expensive work...)
so... i'm wondering.. if anyone knows who did this image?
it's an oil painting of alot of legendary music figures.. at the
table.. elvis is center... the whole last supper thing... i think
there's a guitar there with a gold halo for his plate...
any clues? anything online? there was no schedule, no booklet of the
gallery/exhibit, just a community center thing just like that one day
only blah.. gone.
if anyone has a microbe of a clue... please guide me and others to
finding it or where it's about online..
the image is also being painting along rt 7. in northern va at the
'bangkok blues' it's a tai food resturant right on rt. 7 in northern
va... 'west broad street'.
that's it all i can do for now.
thanks.
yes i know about the grammar and typo problems.. that's not the
point.. any information from anyone who has a clue do respond here or
personally at the email address connected to this correspondance.
:D
nope... what i want is an original oil painting.
i wish there was a reference.. nothing yet. i found the site to the
resturaunt but nothing yet.
so far i still don't know who did the painting i seen at the community
center... which i had a pic of but i had to try and fix the camera
and lost it... so far nothing but i found out that a replica of the
painting done on the resturaunt was done by george mason high school
students. so they said i hope they understood my question.
anyways i'll keep trying to find out because the signature on the
painting was way different and the work's more polished.
i'm sure the painting will be in more showings through out the year.
argh.
(yes i called the center and well... people change, folks only come
to set up the gallery.. so those involved moved along very quickly and
no one can tell me jack...)
