Taleek Brooks, a New York teacher's aide from Brooklyn's PS 243 elementary
school who was charged last month with possession and distribution of
child pornography, has been arrested again by the FBI, this time for an
even more disturbing claim.

After Brooks confessed to gathering over 1,000 pornographic images of
children on his computer, FBI officials searched his home. There, they
reportedly discovered evidence of a second offense: videos that showed the
teacher's aide sexually abusing children inside the school.

Police reportedly found two self-produced child porn videos, one of Brooks
touching a child's genitals, and the other of him spanking a naked child.

Investigators believe both incidents occurred in a classroom.

Brooks had been out on bail following his prior arrest, but a federal
judge revoked his bail after the FBI uncovered evidence of further crimes.

The New York Daily News reports that Brooks told an undercover FBI agent
he was "interested in black boys 10 years old and older."

Brooks also worked at an after school program at the school through the
Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, according to the Daily News.

Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott told NBC New York that he immediately
met with school staff after learning about the charges.

"As chancellor, and as a father, I am horrified and disgusted at the
charges we learned of today from the FBI," Walcott said in a statement,
according to the station. "Our paramount concern is for the safety of our
students, and we are cooperating fully with the federal authorities as
they continue their investigation."

deposes and saysthat he is a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau
ofInvestigation (“FBI”), duly appointed according to law and actingas
such.In or about and between January 2008 and January 2011,both dates
being approximate and inclusive, within the EasternDistrict of New York
and elsewhere, the defendant TALEEK BROOKSdid knowingly and intentionally
employ, use, persuade, induce,entice, and coerce one or minors to engage
in sexually explicitconduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions
of suchconduct, which visual depictions were produced using materialsthat
had been mailed, shipped and transported in and affectinginterstate and
foreign commerce.(Title 18, United States Code, Section 2251(a))On or
about January 13, 2012, within the EasternDistrict of New York, the
defendant TALEEK BROOKS did knowinglyand intentionally possess matters
containing one or more visualdepictions, which visual depictions had been

grounds for mybelief are as follows:

1.I have been a Special Agent with the FBI sinceDecember 2004, and am
currently assigned to the New York Office.I have been assigned to the
Internet Crimes Against Childrensquad. I have been assigned to investigate
violations ofcriminal law relating to the sexual exploitation of children.
Ihave gained expertise in this area through training in classesand daily
work related to conducting these types ofinvestigations. As part of my
responsibilities, I have beeninvolved in the investigation of numerous
child pornography casesand have reviewed thousands of photographs
depicting children(less than eighteen years of age) being sexually
exploited by

adults. Through my experience in these investigations, I havebecome
familiar with methods of determining whether a child is aminor. I am also
a member of the Eastern District of New YorkProject Safe Childhood Task
Force.2.I am familiar with the information contained inthis affidavit
based on my own personal participation in theinvestigation, my review of
documents, my training andexperience, and discussions I have had with
other law enforcementpersonnel concerning the creation, distribution,
andproliferation of child pornography. Additionally,
statementsattributable to individuals herein are set forth in sum
andsubstance and in relevant part.3.On January 10, 2012, the Honorable
Ramon E. Reyes,Jr. signed a search warrant authorizing the search of a
residencelocated on Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn, New York (the
“SUBJECTPREMISES”). In my Affidavit in Support of an Application for
aSearch Warrant of the SUBJECT PREMISES, I stated that on or aboutDecember
29, 2011, an undercover FBI special agent had signedinto a peer-to-peer
(P2P) file sharing program and downloadednine (9) images and two (2) video
files depicting childpornography from the shared directories of a user
with theusername “T.S.” Records obtained from Verizon Internet
Servicesshowed that the IP address utilized by T.S. was subscribed
to“TALEEK BROOKS” and that the address associated with the IPaddress was
the SUBJECT PREMISES.4.On January 13, 2012, I and other law enforcement

agents executed a search of the SUBJECT PREMISES. The defendantTALEEK
BROOKS was present during the execution of the warrant andconfirmed that
he resided at the SUBJECT PREMISES.5.During the execution of the search
warrant, amongother items, a computer and two external hard drives were
seizedfrom the defendant TALEEK BROOKS’s bedroom. In addition, duringthe
execution of the warrant, I interviewed the defendant TALEEKBROOKS. BROOKS
was given his Miranda rights, which he waived.BROOKS admitted, in sum and
substance and in relevant part, thathe has been using a P2P program and
the screenname abbreviatedT.S. to trade child pornography. BROOKS further
admitted that hehas been downloading and sharing child pornography
forapproximately seven years. BROOKS indicated that he hascollected and
saved over 1,000 digital files on his computerscontaining child
pornography. BROOKS admitted that he views andtrades child pornography on
a daily basis and masturbates tochild pornography approximately three
times a week. BROOKSindicated that the ages of the children in the child
pornographyhe collected were approximately 10 years old and older.
BROOKSfurther stated, and law enforcement has confirmed, that he
wasemployed by the New York City Department of Education as a para-
professional at P.S. 243, the Weeksville School, in Brooklyn, andthat he
worked at the after-school program at P.S. 243 throughthe Madison Square
Boys and Girl Club.6.On January 13, 2012, the defendant TALEEK BROOKSwas
arraigned on a complaint charging him with knowingly and

intentionally transporting and shipping child pornography, inviolation of
18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(1). A copy of the Complaint isattached hereto as
Exhibit A.7.A partial preliminary computer forensicexamination of the
computer equipment seized from BROOKS’sbedroom has been conducted.
Pursuant to that examination,numerous images of apparent child pornography
that appear to havebeen produced by BROOKS were discovered. These videos
and imagesinclude a video of BROOKS touching a pre-pubescent child’s
penis.BROOKS also videotaped himself spanking a naked child. Thevideos
captured conduct taking place in a school classroom. Apreliminary analysis
reveals that these videos and images appearto have been produced between
January 2008 and January 2011, bothdates being approximate and inclusive,
with digital cameras andcomputer equipment which had previously been
mailed, shipped andtransported in interstate and foreign commerce.

WHEREFORE, Your affiant respectfully requests that the defendant TALEEK
BROOKS be dealt with according to law.
