osexual_agenda_in_our_schools_Its_coming_to_a_school_near_you_unless.html

We recently published an article about a policy that is pending before
our school board to protect homosexual students from bullying. The
school board is required by law to adopt such a policy, but the absence
of any discussion in open regular session has raised questions about
whether the school administration and school board understands the full
implications of what is behind the law.

We had a reader respond to the article and alleged that what is behind
the law is a national movement to promote a gay and lesbian agenda in
our public schools. Another reader, who apparently was a teacher,
responded that there is no such movement. We went to work on that and
frankly we were amazed at what we found.

There is a national movement. Part of the "movement" includes an
organization called the "Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network"
(GLSEN). GLSEN was founded by Barack Obama's "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin
Jennings, who was paid $273,573.96 as its Executive Director in 2007
before Obama appointed him to the Safe Schools position in the U. S.
Department of Education.

To get a feel for some of the stuff that is going on in this "movement"
you should check into a 2000 conference that was held in Massachusetts
sponsored by their education department along with the Safe Schools
program and the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian youth. Actually
the conference was reported as the 10 Year Anniversary Conference of
GLSEN/Boston.

You can read about GLSEN and this conference by clicking here. We need
to warn you that the article is shocking to most people's sensibilities.
If you don't know what "fisting" is you will be shocked.

This expose has all of the markings of the recent ACORN scandal, except
that it reveals the focus on the homosexual agenda targeted at our
public school students, some as young as elementary school-age.

Note at the end of the article that "there's more to come." Get
prepared.

Commentary

We believe Beaufort County is fortunately not in the vanguard of this
"movement" that is impacting other schools in the country, but we have
no doubt based on our research that there is a well organized and well
funded movement afoot to impact as many public schools as possible with
the "homosexual agenda."

One of the major objectives of the movement is to get special protection
as a classification for homosexual students. The Observer article linked
above has a link within it to the background behind the law that passed
the legislature that resulted in this school board policy being
mandatory.

This is a first step. Getting special protection for a classification
based on gender preference. Then, and this law even goes this next step,
the idea is to "teach" student that homosexuality is acceptable. To
achieve this will require "affirmative action" by school officials. It
goes way beyond protecting students from bullying. And it is how much
beyond bullying our school board is going to allow in our schools.

Let the record show that we have alerted our community. It's coming to a
school near you. Count on it. Unless our school officials head it off.

And a footnote from our research. It appears from what we have seen that
the homosexual movement targeted at our schools is but an extension of
the Gay Marriage movement. Some of the same people and organizations
involved in one facet are also involved in the other.

We find it amazing that our legislators would create a special legal
classification for homosexual students but they would not let the people
vote on a Marriage Amendment to our state constitution. Some things they
do in Raleigh just make you go: mmmmmm.

We want to make it very clear: We do not support bullying of gay
students. But we do not support bullying of any student. We do not
however, believe gay students should be singled out for "special
protection" any more than any other "group" should be singled out.

But in fairness, we should add that we have no information that any of
this has shown up in our local schools. We would not expect it to
because we have more confidence in our local educators. But we think
parents all across the nation should be aware of this agenda, and the
support the U. S. Department of Education is giving it.

We are very concerned about a stealth attack, and we would anticipate
that it would come in Raleigh with efforts to infiltrate the State's
Standard Course of Study (the state's mandated curriculum) with these
materials and ideas. We'll be on the lookout for such but we think local
educators and parents should also.

We find it incredible that the Obama Administration would participate in
such.

UPDATE: As indicated above, "there's more to come." Brietbar has an
update to the above link. It may be viewed by clicking here. We warn you
again, it is exceedingly offensive.

Pro-Humanity agenda coming to a school near you unless...
December 10, 2009 | 02:23 PM

What an absurd article and commentary - GLSEN's movement has nothing to
do with teaching our children to be gay, it has everything to do with
teaching our children that they shouldn't beat the crap out of people
that are gay and providing teachers with the tools and resources needed
to educate themselves on how to reach out to bullied students and help
them. This is particularly important given that too many "Christian's"
in this country don't seem to give a damn about the thousands of
homeless, bullied, and murdered LGBT children every year. What ever
happened to the messages of the Bible that promoted, love, the
encouragement of humanity, and unending grace of the lord Jesus Christ.
Shame on this author and the newspaper for printing such anti-American,
anti-Christian rhetoric and for suggesting that students who identify as
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender don't deserve to be treated with
dignity, respect, and love. Shame...

bullying
December 10, 2009 | 12:17 PM

the one thing that i remember about going to secondary public school was
the relentless bullying of anyone who gave the appearance of being gay.
not only was it relentless, but it was viciouness, and callousness. and
there was no limit of the different kinds of students that engaged in
it, in and out of the classroom, without any reprimand from the teachers
and administrators.

the fact that our laws in this country sanction equal protection for
homosexuals as is given heterosexuals, demands the strongest of laws to
counter the homophobic culture that has evolved in english speaking
cultures for the last 600 years.

kudos for the schools for stepping out and taking seriously their
responsibilty to engender that attitude of acceptance of gays that will
foster that equal protection and come against the terrible persecution
of the past.

and not to mention that this country is built on a foundation of
seperation of church and state.

Hmmm, I wonder how Obama got that done. Kevin Jennings Safe School Czar
is a danger to your children. He should be fired and Obama impeached.

Let's shorten this a bit shall we?

Let's assume, homophobe, that I already asked you for evidence supporting
your claims (from an unbiased source), and that I asked you what
the "dangers" in homosexuality supposedly are, and you - like all
homophobes - answered "Duh" and "Duh". Now please tell us all, why should
we bother about the crap you babble for a single second?

How is it that a tiny dirtwater newspaper on the coast of North
Carolina gets a copy of the Homosexual Agenda and no real homosexual
has ever seen the damn thing?

It's the coast of north Carolina, perhaps they get a lot of messages in
bottles blown in from the hurricanes.

Oh, Terrible the schools are trying to teach the children about sex and you
bigots do not want that to happen, you want the dark ages back.

You cannot have truth taught at schools or you will lose your bigot hold on
these children.

They all have to be brainwashed your way.

After all if they are taught the truth they will become more liberal,
something you would hate.
