Is there anything here other than ads? Any homeschoolers with disabled kids?

My son has CP, and we are doing some partial home-schooling to facilitate reading.  I want to find good, parent-tested curricula but all I see are ads.  Are there any real parents here, or is there a better forum to actually communicate with people and not hucksters?

I am currently homeschooling my son, who has Aspergers. Previous to
this year, I was a special education teacher and had a non-verbal
child w/CP whom I taught to read. We started with the Edmark Reading
Program and rime families (-at, -an, -ed etc.)
