I'm looking for a distance Postgraduate Diploma in the History of Art
from a British university. I am interested in doing graduate work in
this field for my own enjoyment. I don't wish to do a Masters thesis.
There doesn't seem to be any US colleges or universities that offer such
a program.

I almost hate to post this, since it is the second time today that I have
recommended the University of Wales, and that sounds like I am shilling for
them.... but...... since I have just sent in my application for the Distance
Ph.D. in history, I have a nodding acquaintance with them. They are
relatively new, only 900 years old, third oldest in Great Britain, but they
are learning.....and they have History of Art among others.....
