Alex Kingston Returns for Doctor Who's Finale: The Name of the Doctor
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the BBC's "Doctor Who"
has today revealed the title of its season finale. "The Name of the
Doctor" will feature the return of Alex Kingston as River Song. Check
out the poster art below!

The seventh modern season of the show follows the adventures of The
Doctor (Matt Smith) and his new companion Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman)
on their incredible adventures through space and time. Known only as
"The Doctor" for half a century, the reveal of the character's real
name has been teased ever since Kingston's first appearance in 2008's
"Silence in the Library."

Written by showrunner Steven Moffat and directed by Saul Metzstein,
"The Name of the Doctor" will air on May 18. Fans won't have to wait
too long after that for another new episode, however, as a 50th
anniversary special will follow later this year, featuring the return
of both David Tennant and Billie Piper.

It's probably revealed as something like "Cuddles" or some other pet name
River Song calls him by. "Sweetie" maybe?

Nickname as reinforced in Happiness Patrol.

Feta Sigma had nothing to do with Happiness Patrol, Sigma was just a label for aliens there.
It was not a nick name in Armageddon Factor, it was his class mate Drax's memory of him.
If you can't get this straight it's no wonder the writers get away with not.

It is (or at least was) specifically a south London thing, which began
with many Afro-Carribean immigrants settling in south London areas
like Brixton in the 1950s and 60s, and spread from them to the other
working-class, south Londoners. (Drax spent many years in Brixton
prison where he picked up his accent.)

Indeed, The Doctor had snobbery about it then like with Dodo.
