Challenge drabble- Playing Games

(The title refers to me as well as the characters, since this is just plain
showing off, I'm afraid 8-)...)
The Doctor and Romana were sitting at the edge of the lake. In the clear water,
the Galifreyans were twinned, interspersed with crystalline sparkles. The
Doctor was humming his favourite tune to himself. Romana looked at him,
wondering if he was about to try the same silly delaying tactic he'd tried in
the last forty games. It meant he thought she was winning.
Sure enough, the Doctor suddenly grinned and put down his cards. "Twenty-one!"
he declared.
Romana sighed. "You've 'forgotten' again, have you?" she asked, sarcastically.
The Doctor looked innocent. "Forgotten what?"
"That we're playing rummy!"
"Ah, yes."
