The Wrongest Night

Written for the Appearances Deceive challenge

General Sir Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart heard a familiar
wheezing sound and smiled expectantly at the thought of
seeing his old friend again.

"Alistair!" called the Doctor cheerily as he exited the
TARDIS, "Good to see you again! Sorry I couldn't stop during
the Slitheen business..." It gradually dawned on the Doctor
that something was awry. A look of horror crossed the
General's face, and he trained his revolver on his visitor.

"I don't know what you've done with the Doctor," growled
Lethbridge-Stewart, "But I'm damned if I'll see the TARDIS in
the hands of a man like you, Brimmicombe-Wood."

(Okay, that's the last one, I promise!)
