"And we've landed." The Doctor grinned. Rose looked sceptical.

"And we're definitely in Naples, 1960, this time?" she asked.

"Of course we... ah." The Doctor squinted at a readout, and
his face fell. "Glasgow, 1980."

"Glasgow," repeated Rose, in much the same way as she'd said
Cardiff, only more so.

"Yeah. Useful, 'cos there are actually police boxes here."

"You know, I'm still not clear how that works as a disguise."

"Well, generally speaking, humans only see what they expect.
They see a police box, they assume it should be there. The
idea that it just appeared, well that's daft, innit? Only
exceptions are kids. They see what's really there 'cos they've
got no filters. Some adults have it as well, but they're
generally pretty daft anyway, so nothing to worry about..."

The Doctor was interrupted by a banging on the TARDIS doors.

"Awright, Stirling, oot the car!"

(Sorry, since we Brits keep doing crossovers with shows the
Americans haven't seen, I thought I'd do one the English
haven't seen either 8-).)
