"Dammit," the Proprietor muttered.

"What's up?" Sandra inquired.

"We missed the /perfect/ promotional opportunity, /that's/ what." the
Proprietor said.

"Having a Halloween Horror Night with real monsters isn't enough?" Sandra said,
eyebrow raised.

"Of /course/ not," the Proprietor said, ignoring Sandra's tone entirely. "Look.
We had 665 completed This Time Round stories come Halloween. If we'd had just
/one/ more story that night, we could have included it in the promotion - 666,
the Story of the Beast! We could even have brought the Beast in to promote it!"

Sandra was suddenly very, /very/ glad no-one had posted a Halloween story.
