of Labor dAy weekend... hardly NOBODY was der in the beginning...dat
DJ kamakazz"ME" fo' about almost 2 hrs..."ME" sang coz most of dem
folks jus wanted to drink ...Da place was jus' recently changed to do
karaoke...heh ! 'Fn'-A ! ...well, "ME" did a ...remember the old
"Cheers" series ?...when Fraizer Crane (the Psych) went karaokee-

...Yep ! I beat his asszZZz!!!... goin' early pays off coz, one can
sing as many as one wants...till the crowd shows up... usually
almost 11:00pm is when the party-folks show up (already goners!)

alot MO' to it than you can imagine. There's NO
professional equipment (ya know, the "stuff" that
can help tune ya) AND there's NO "CUT!" in splice
...it's LIVE and ya get one shot !
Ya bascially goin'n in "blind" COZ of several factors...
* everyplace has different music/keys/tempos/...etc.
* accoustics sucks, too much reverb/echoing PLUS too
many drunks talking/singing in different keys ...
makes it difficult for one to hear oneself.
...etc. "ME" can go on and on ... so, "Give IT A SHOT !"
( if ya gott ballzzZZzz ! )
* Most practice and when dey get der ... dey find all of
(the above) problems and get totally lost !
BUTT it's "karaoke" ...its suppose to be damn "goofey_aZZ_FUN !"
Most folks/D.J.s I've met are surprise why I sing love tunes ...
and a "variety" of songs...PLUS dey ARE aware that I mostly
"KamaKazze"ME"self (trust me, its a challenge ...no practicn'
and not knowing what the songs is going to be like...and
Ya got to be quick to adhere to whatever and NOT bomb out !
..."ME" gets some slack cuz dey know I try everything...most
jus' sing der favorite songs ... OH, "ME" did bomb out (towards
the end ) of Aretha Franklin "daydreamin'" ... dat song is
a long tune and "ME" voice got really tired/stressed ...(&
da DJ says "I warned ya, did'nt I ?" ...eh !... whatever !
