If you're going to prepare an extract product, then any low or high salvinorin A
content leaf will work fine. Just determine what final salvinorin A content per
gram you want your final product to be, and then calculate out how much weight
for each strength of leaf that's available will be required and multiply that by
the price. If you want 15 mg salvinorin A per gram of leaf in your final
product, that may require a 5x of a stronger leaf, or a 10x of a weaker leaf.
Do the math to determine which leaves will be the overall cheapest.
If you have other friends who are into Salvia, you can get yours for free by
making enough to sell to them so it will pay for your share. All you have to do
is the EASY extraction process.
An "ounce" of good quality leaves shouldn't cost more than $30 to $35 at MOST
(unless you want really pretty leaves for chewing) - and thus I'm thinking 1/4
of an ounce shouldn't be more than like maybe $10. 1/4 of an ounce is 7 grams,
which is typically the amount of leaves in a 6x extract product, and they sell
for at most $29 a gram, but more like around $15 if you shop around. So if
you're willing to spend $29 for 1/4 an ounce of regular leaves, and you intend
to smoke them, just spend $29 to get 1 gram of extract fortified leaf.
