Hello everyone. I have a semi-interesting story to tell everyone about my
experiance with cops where I live. I live in a fairly big town in Ontario
(that's Canada) and it seems there is a large abundance of cops around and
about doing their cop things pissing everyone off. This has happened to me
about 4 or 5 times and it is really starting to irritate me. Me and my
buddies are out smoking joints, or rolling joints in a fairly unused area in
our car when out of no where a cruiser shows up and starts asking us
questions. Most of the time we handle it quite well making up bullshit
excuses but the most recent time was probably the weirdest. It was a few
days ago, the Canadian thanksgiving to be exact, and all the malls were
closed and deserted. Around 3:00 me and my friend went and smoked a joint in
the far end of the parking lot behind Sears trucks and what not. And that
was fine, then we drove around for a bit meeting up with people and getting
food at Burger King. So we decided to re-visit this place after supper
around 5:30. Steve (my friend) rolled up the joint while I was on look-out,
and doing a rather half assed job because I was gapping out all the time.
Right when Steve finished rolling and twisted the end off, not one, but two
cruisers show up unexpectidly. Steve quickly brushed off the excess weed on
the ground and I covered up the scissors with some paper. So the cop asks us
what we were doing there and Steve said we were just listening to music.
Then the cop looks at us and says "That's what your house is for". This
comment kinda pissed me off but I remained calm, not to taint the situation
any worse than it was. Now, I have delt with cops before and they usually
don't bother with asking the passenger any questions, but then the cop
started asking me for my name and where I lived and if I had any I.D.
Stupidly I said that I didn't have I.D. and he looked at me kind of weird.
Then all of the sudden he just said thanks and he drove off. Does anyone
have any ideas on why they showed up? I don't think people would phone the
police about that, and why did two cruisers show up?
