You are addicted but the small amount you consume is so small I
normally wouldn't even give it a second thought. I used (and then
later abused) caffeine as the only way to tone down constant
migraines. I am currently off it at the moment.
If you are concerned about your use in your diet for celiac disease
mention how much, how often and the effects of it to your doctor next
time you have an appointment. Keep in mind there are a few side
effects to caffeine other than being awake when you need to sleep and
withdrawal, I had problems with urination, but I was also drinking two
liters of Pepsi Cola a day.
If your doctor says it's ok for the degree of your disease just ask
yourself if you are drinking it because you need it to wake up or to
feel "normal" or if you are drinking it because you like the taste. If
you aren't drinking it because you like the taste than wean yourself
off, otherwise enjoy.
