Death of me(really means the ending of something on going in my life)

I become aware just at the ending of a storm which had already
moved through the area where down trees and limbs are all over. I am
standing on a wooden patio that is off the ground several feet. There
are a lot of pine needles and small pine limbs one the patio and I
start picking up some and tossing them over the side. A friend I know
comes out of the house and we sit down looking at all the damage. She
turns to me and says out of the blue "You know you died last week?.
Guessing it was such a shock to me that I woke up.
