1st Dream: Complicated dream, constant shifting. I enter a supermarket,
pick up one item, start to leave, then remember I want to pick up some
beer. Crowded store, and there's a family, a father with two boys,
walking in the same general direction. One of the boys keeps walking
past me, then he stops suddenly, so I have to stop to avoid running into
him. He does this several times and I get annoyed that he's doing it on
purpose. The next time he starts t rush past me I just extend my arm as
if I'm reaching for something from a shelf and he runs into it and
falls.
Scene shift: the supermarket has turned into a mansion. I am somehow
involved in security for the mansion, as if we're worried someone is
planning to steal something from it.
I leave the house. My truck is parked in the driveway of a house across
the street, out of sight. In the front yard of the mansion, I stop,
duck behind a tree and change into a Batman costume -- it is a very
silly costume, looks like a very early comic book Batman from the 1940s.
I walk acros to the yard of the house across the street,go under another
very large oak tree. There I find a mid-sized black dog -- my dog (in
the dream), lying on a low-hanging branch. I climb on the dog's back
and we take off, flying.
We soar over the houses. I see now where I am, in my hometown of Lake
Jackson. I intend to fly toward my home, but there's an airport in my
way. It's where there used to be a local airport in RL, but this is a
very large airport, with jet aircraft. I swoop around, riding on my
flying dog over a parking area for airplanes. I don't want to fly too
close to the airport or planes, afraid I will get hit by the exhaust
from a jet and will crash, or that a plane will hit me. I am also
afraid I wil show up on radar ad will be mistaken for a missile or some
other terrorist attack.
=END OF 1ST DREAM=
2nd Dream: I am a newly-elected Vice President of the United States;
entire dream takes place as I and an aide are walking through the halls
of, possibly, the White House. Someone wants to have a long television
interview with me, but I say that I will do it, on one condition:
instead of the news anchor interviewing me, I will interview him. I say
that this will be a good way for the American people to learn about me,
how I think, if I'm the one asking questions, and wil reveal something
about the newsman as well, though I can see why a journalist wouldn't
like having the tables turned on him.
I came up with this idea on the spur of the moment, but as I think about
it, I think it's a great idea, and I want to go suggest that the
President do this himself, maybe once a month, appearing on different
networks, interviewing their star news reporter.
=END OF DREAMS=
Notes: The supermarket in the dream is one I shop at occasionally,
though it was laid out differently. There was a scene I can't remember
in detail with me going into a store at the end of the shopping center
where the supermarket is located -- in RL it is, I think, a greeting
card store, but I've never been in it, and can't remember what it was in
the dream.
Flying was great fun in the dream. This is only about the third flying
dream I've ever had; no idea why I was riding a black dog -- a friend
suggested something I knew already: Winston Churchill refered to his
periodic depresion as his "black dog" -- I seemed to be in control of
this cooperative animal, though.
No idea about the Batman costume, except that Cust-Support replied to a
dream I posted about an ugly bat with a joke about a nun mistaken for
Batman.
I actually think the idea of having the president interview journalists
periodicaly is a pretty good one.
Comments and interpretations welcome.

you are the boy, it represents some attitude of yours.
it is YOU telling YOU to be mature, have patience.
This also ties in with that immature stunt of running over a rednecks
camera.

That's your future (not a mansion, but the hope of a nicer tommarrow)
of course you are interested in the security of your future.

You feel out of your element in climbing the ladder of life.
The dog is someone who is going to carry you (of course)
like.. a client.

means, your traffiking is demanding (whatever it is you set your hand to,
and yule be glad to have a break from it)

then the above are just details of that future.

face value, you show an interest and genuine concern for your country.

My first thought is... don't do that. It's like a man being his own lawyer.
Stay with what is conventional Batman
