1. I was on a water front. This seemed to be a very old town as the
buildings
were made of stone. I was in the water a few yards away from the 10
foot
sea
wall. There was a large opening in the sea wall and all of a sudden I
saw
a
giant snake coming out of the opening. There were other people there
watching
this also. I then moved to a position further from the wall and watched
as
this
snake, a true giant, a 100 feet and a girth of probably 8 feet. I
watched
as
it
climbed up the side of one of the old buildings along the wharf. I
started
yelling frantically, " snake, snake." I then went to land and got up on
a
sidewalk where I found a policeman. I told him about what was going on
with
the
snake and then noticed that he almost stepped into some dog droppings on

the
ground and that the droppings , part of them started to move and I
heard
someone
yell snake. I then took the droppings and threw them into the water
wondering
if
the snake would eat it.

Note: Elle goofy dream. Sometimes I wonder if my psyche doesn't take my

fears
and manifest them in a dream occasionally just to heighten my dream
awareness.
The dream ending in the way it did I think was an effort to leave
the
dream
and me the dreamer not so traumatized by finishing it on a somewhat
humorous
note.
2. voice, says," it is up to 2000 pounds."
3. I hear a voice say, " a cowboy is at the time clock today digging up
some
bunkers. " I see a guy in a cowboy hat when I hear this said.
4. Voice says, " How do you do that Yale meister."
5. I was shown a large painting. In appeared very old and it was a
religious
theme. A voice accompanied the seeing of this painting and it said
something
about ," less violence." On the top of the painting on the right hand
side
was a
number in white,
300. This was not iconography,( I think that is the right word) but
rather
from
a somewhat later period. I do not remember the details of the work.
6. I was in a boat and looking down over the side into some very clear
water I
saw a bunch of little puppies walking on the bottom
about 5 feet down.
7. Janice and I were up on the St. Lawrence river at camp. We heard a
bunch
of
noise and went out to the road and saw a bunch of activity. A fire
truck
came
whizzing by and then another truck pulling a long flatbed trailer with a

huge
pipe on it.
the pipe was strange because at the one end it Y'd . In other words the

pipe
was
like that of a Y laying down. It was maybe 40 feet long and had a
diameter
of
about 6 feet. It was silver in color.
Note: I was driving Jancie to work this morning and a HASMET fire truck

started
to back out into the road right in front of us with us doing about 45
mph,
fortunately it stopped before coming right into our path. It was close
enough
to
startle us though.
8. I heard a voice say, " swear one that leads to one," then I saw a
scoreboard
that had the number 475 on it in large numbers.
9. I heard my voice say, " Janice look what is on the TV, then looking I

saw a
pack of what what looked like rolling papers for cigarettes, and on the
top
a
number "767." As
I was looking at it the package it turned and I was only able to see two
of
the
numbers.
10. This was a crazy dream. I was in a yard talking to a man. He
seemed
to
be
a reporter possibly. Anyway we were chatting about what I don't know
but
suddenly a lion came out of no where and attacked the man. We were
standing
beside a wooden boat that was laying in the grass flipped upside down.
I
dropped
to the ground on the one side of the boat and terrified I peaked around
the
one
end to see this lion munching on this guy. I couldn't see the lion's
face.
I
got up and started to move away.
Now some 20 feet away I looked back and saw another animal that was
really
pissed, a warthog with huge tusks ramming into
a wooden box that was maybe 7 feet by 3 feet. It was as if he wanted to

get
at
something in the box. I quickly left the spot and made my way to the
front
of
the house where I rang the bell and knocked on the door furiously to
get
somones
attention. No one came so I went to a porch that was above this one and

was
yelling for my mother who I knew was inside. I then went to the railing

and
looking over saw her on the lower porch talking with a man and I yelled
to
her
. She looked up at me but still did not respond to my attempts to get
her
attention. As I turned frustrated from the railing I was saying, " oh
geez
I
give up," then as I turned around I found there was a paramedic standing

there
with a walkie talkie and
then I realized that the people downstairs were probably authorities
also
who
had
been contacted , had responded probably to a call from my mother. I
came
out
of
it.

Instructions for Dream In to follow shortly
Busy night.

I liked this one: "10/10/98," by John Chilton.
It reminded me of "A voice out of the whirlwind."
The following are my revisions;

And a voice spoke unto John, saying; "It is up to 2000 pounds."
Another voice then spoke, saying; "A cowboy is at the time
clock today, digging up some bunkers."
And so it happened that, as John stood listening, a guy in
a cowboy hat did appear before him.
The voice spoke again, saying, "How didst thou that, Yale meister?"

Presently, John returned from the large painting, whereupon
his attention had been lost. Its subject was a very old religious
theme. As he looked at it, he could again hear the disembodied
voice once more, and this time it said simply; "Less violence."
John had seen (and heard) quite enough by then. Before taking
his leave, he looked for the painting's title, but only the number "300"
could be read at the upper right in white numerals. Although not an
expert, he guessed it is was the painting's age, but was unsure
without further details to go on.

On the way home, John fell into another reverie. Once, when John
was drifting down the River of Forgetfulness in his dream boat, he
looked over the side, into very clear water, and distinctly saw a
bunch of little puppies walking on the bottom at a depth of about
5 feet.

When John got home, he was met by a reporter who wanted to
interview him. John was reluctant, and as they stood in his back
yard, a lion attacked the pushy reporter. That frightened John, and
just before he turned and ran, he looked back and noticed that
the lion was munching on the reporter, giving him the jawboning
he deserved. Then, only 20 feet away, John saw yet another feral
beast, a warthog with huge tusks. He could see it was pissed
because it was repeatedly ramming into a large wooden box.
It seemed to know what was in the box and wanted to get at it.

After that he ran in panic and tried to get into the house
but the door was locked. Ringing the doorbell furiously
brought his mother to the upstairs window. She ignored
him and spoke over his head to another man in the yard.
That person must have called for help, for, as he was in
despair and on the verge of a breakdown, paramedics
pulled up to the curb.
