Subject: Warning: German Registrar 1and1.com steals US Domains
Germany-based reseller of  Internet domain registration services,
www.1and1.com is arguably the most crooked predator in the business. They
practice a variety of fraudulent activities, one of them being that they
never release a domain, if its registered owner wants to transfer it to
another registrar. They simply grey-out the Administration button in your
Manage Domains page of their web site, so you can not authorize the
transfer. When an owner complains to supp...@1and1.com, they respond that
everything's cool, you can transfer it, we're not holding your domain, but
the transfer never takes place, since they do not ever release it.

Beware of 1and1.com !!!
