Here's the weekly run down of Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland Resort
stuff. Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's is nearing completion, a small
train is on the track being pulled through... also at Knott's,
Screamin' Swing is back up and running. At Disneyland they've been
training Cast Members on the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (or
Finding Nemo's Banana Boat Adventure as I prefer to call it), they'd
been setting up for the new Pirates movie premier and of course at DCA
not much has happened on Toy Story Mania. But there does appear to be
some movement on the new lagoon show there... enjoy the update!
Knott's log ride still closed
By ANDREW GALVIN
The Orange County Register
Knott's Berry Farm's Timber Mountain Log Ride remains closed for
repairs after a February incident in which part of the structure's
ceiling collapsed.
You have to appreciate the irony... Right next door to Knott's log
ride is their old Calico Mine Ride, in which a collapsing ceiling
(complete with timbers cracking and dropping down) is part of the
show...
