I believe that within an allegedly free nation such as the United States that the way that one walks or talks should not alone be a criterion for arresting or otherwise detaining someone. But in the South, where I have lived for a bit over a decade now, I believe that such a travesty can happen.
And what about my hair style or brown skin color or the garments that I wear?
