to
the mind of the matter, that strange device

it can come right up to the
point of realization of shortfall

and/but/etc. that is as far as it can come.

and i mean, in comparison to the
conscious persona commonly
referred to as "God"

'it' the material mind, can butt its
little nose right up to the window,

realize that there -is- a higher consciousness,

and petition the Deity for 'rescue'

the material mind [of man] is incapable of transforming itself

in -to- that higher consciousness

but it -can- see that the higher consciousness is desirable.

but it's not a trivial matter to become
involved -with- the higher consciousness,

and 'you' won't be able to treat the higher consciousness

with the usual utilitarian flair that

the material mind is so well known for.

of course im not saying that the
mind of man cannot -be- so transformed,

as that is the very nature
of the 'christian conversion.'

but that man's rationality alone

can, at best, only -see- the surface

and not scratch away into the depth of God's own Nature

i would not deny and would very much agree,

but if and when you _can_ -see- the surface,

and realize, at least, that 'you' are -not-

the 'measure of all things'

then- and -only- then, can you invite the Deity

into your abode and have supper,

-but- as you may suspect, a meeting with the Deity

will in all likelihood -kill- you,

but that -is- the initiation of this process of transformation

the 'genius' of it, is that through Christ,

your 'death' is fully incorporated with

your 'new birth' in to Life

and so, the material mind of man is

figuratively pummled with stones

as it were

or drowned in the red sea with pharoah and his chariots,

and -then- pummled with stones

but 'you' come through it all and sit right

at the same table with the Deity

in the form in which you were -to- _be_

from the intent in the Mind -of- the higher conciosuness

from -before- your inception.

you haven't -lost-

you have -gained-

as what is shed was not 'profitable' anyway

and what was discovered

made you alive
