Nearly 25 years ago. Ladkin (do a search) thinks that something will
be revealed when documents are released. That won't happen. The
Georges (Shultz and Bush SEnior) are still alive and no US agency will
embarrass either of them.
Maybe wait another 5 years, then the UK files will be opened. The
British Government said nothing for 17 days even though Prime Minister
Maggie Thatcher was a close friend of drongo Reagan.
What might their files say?
"This didn't happen. The US has total radar coverage of the area and
everything flying would have been observed, identified and monitored
for the entire flight. The US is on a propaganda blitz because the
Soviets don't know what is going on. Let's wait a bit and see what
happens."
Nothing happened.
The non-explanation by Old Bold Pilot "Gordon" in another forum is
rubbish. Nothing he says is verifiable nor does it explain the
absence of wreckage. (see <geocities.com/kalinfo/wreckage> nor what
happened to the bodies. "Cuttlefish got them" says Oberg. Yeah,
Right? All 269 skulls, femurs, pelvic frames. I don't think so.

the actual address is catless.ncl.ac.uk/Risks/18.44.html and he
says...
"Chase hopes that Brun's book will trigger Congressional hearings,
else we'll
have to wait until 2008, when the classified documents will be
disclosed."
Oh, and since humans have two femurs, there should be something over
500 of them...somewhere, but not anywhere near Moneron Island.
cheers
