Microsoft have now surpassed themselves. Having produced an operating system that doesn't work (Vista) they've now matched it with a web-browser that doesn't work - IE8. Is there no end to their persistence and ingenuity?

...I'm pretty underwhelmed by cmd.exe, too, what with its window being limited to being dragged 80 characters wide unless you go in and change the defaults, while file names can be much longer, and it still using the garbage edit mark and copy mechanism of command.com, rather than supporting mouse cut and paste operations...... more »
