At present both the login and registration pages are in working order
on the test platform directory:

But nothing else is finished...at least online wise. At present I'm
working on the user profile setup system, which will let you pick
various things like your favorite operating system, your favorite
music, favorite movies, favorite artist, favorite food, favorite
website, etc, etc.

And then on some of these I'm thinking about having sub links where
you can do like a "top 5" or "top 10" with some categories. My
ultimate goal is that I eventually want to setup a kind of
"compatibility search" that you can use to find other users with like
interests.

Part of why this system is taking so long to build is because it's
highly graphical in nature. I only just today finished compiling all
the image icons/sprites for use in the "favorite video game console"
choice. Here's the whole shebang at present:

Tres thorough, non?

Actually, despite how many there are there, it's not actually a
complete list. The only semi-major ones I'm missing are the Philips
CD-i (although no one in their right mind would like that anyway) and
the Nokia N-Gage. Pretty sure I got most everything else.

I was a bit torn when I started going back into the early 80s systems
and wasn't really sure I should include actual "computers" of the day,
like the Apple II, the Commodore and so forth. I ended up deciding to
include some of the more major ones, like the two previously
mentioned, but I don't think I'll bother including lesser known ones
like the NEC PC series, the Vectrex, the X68000, etc. Nor am I going
to include every last Amiga system that was put out. I also decided to
leave out most of the crapware hand helds like the old Tiger series,
mostly because there are hundreds, if not thousands of the lil buggers
and most are not worth mentioning. I included the major fad ones like
the Pocket Pikachu and I'll also likely include the Tamagochi (not on
there yet). If anything I might actually shorten the list a bit, like
I might take off the Famicon systems as they're essentially the exact
same thing as the NES and SNES. I might also take off some of those
early Sega systems, since probably no one has ever even heard of them.

Anyway, right now I'm working on the scrolling system that lets you
browse through all those to pick your favorite. If anyone can think of
something important that I'm missing let me know and I'll see about
adding it. I also need to find a better version of the Coleco Vision
sprite/icon as the one I have is basically just a shitty resize of a
photo of the thing. I'd also like to find the original source graphic
I'm using for the Sega Nomad, since the one I've got is an obvious
JPEG recompress (not a very good one either). Unfortunately Google
search has not turned up the original as of yet, but I'm still
looking.

I've also been working on compiling/making the animal form
sprites/icons for use in choosing your fursona animal type, as well as
your favorite animal (although I'm guessing those two are probably
often the same):

Originally I was just going to go with the list of animals that's on
the current Fur Affinity site, but it was such a disastrous mess of
organization, not to mention missing some major animals types, so I
decided to just start over from scratch.
