Reminds me of the look of the new Star Trek movie. Yet you have to ask
yourself... What do you need a curved wide screen for??? Games would look
like crap, and you would have to turn your head left and right just to read.
Maybe good for TV and movies, but not a PC.

Wider space in a smaller space, effectively. Currently I have a 19
inch flat screen and a 17 inch flat screen that are side by side and
tilted inwards. But if it were a curved form I'd get more screen
space (and there wouldn't be a gap in the middle).

Most people probably don't really have a use for such a setup, but if
you do a lot of things like I do then it becomes absolutely
imperative. For example when editing video I can keep the editing
timeline on one side whilst having a large, full screen preview open
on the other side. Or, if I'm doing Flash work, I can have the
outline and coding windows open on one side and then the preview
window open on the other, like nyah:

It's also great for rendering work when you need to be able to look at
your model from multiple angles simultaneously:

Ya, I figure if you can setup your resolution & windows properly then it may
be a benefit to video editors. Still for most of what I do, I think my eyes
and neck would need several months to adjust...
