Haven't gotten it yet. What about you? Have you used it yet? Samples??

Some people find it very slow on their machines. The watercolor
brushes are "animated" ... meaning that the pixels are pushed
around as you stroke and thus the machines have to do a lot of
work to try and keep up, many fail.

Don't know why it was decided to ruin it. I have 5.5 and 6 on my
machine and use them, but I don't think I will be upgrading.

File formats is one reason for keeping 6. Another is that I am
more familiar with and like better -- the interface to 5.5. I
like some of the text things that you can do with 6.0 so I keep
it on the machine. But I use 5.5 for most of the work I do for logos.

I don't like the interface of 6.0 and above. If a person has two
monitors running and can have all the little windows open on one
screen and work on the other screen it might be ok, but if you
have to have all that crap on one screen it is just too crowded.
I am not sure who owned the software at the time, but 6.0 was the
point that the interface changed for the worse.
Now with 7.0 and the slowness of the software ... they have
really messed up the program.

Well, that's disappointing to hear. Maybe there is an option to disable that
animation. [?] It looked pretty good on their web site with all the new
features and more readable palettes. Still like to try it though.
Ah well...maybe wait for version 8.
