I was going to mail you a book that I thought you'd enjoy, I put it
off this last week and then I log on to find you've done it, you've
left. I thought you'd found the answer, a few times even. You kept on
with humor and a twisted view, you entertained others out of their
hells I thought for sure you'd hang on.. I knew you were miserable so
much of the time, but I thought you'd stay.. I didn't think you'd go.
I'll miss you, even in the mostly silent moments in the last many
years you were here for me with the music you sent, the tools you gave
me that helped me hang on... I wish, I wish I could have done
something for you...
Though I am angry as well, don't get me wrong. You said you'd try the
desert and the sunshine. You said you'd try them, at least, once...
just once... as a last resort.
I hope you found peace, old man. You were one of the few good ones.
