Phone Number in the U.S. - Call Forwarding

Hello,

hope I have catched the right newsgroup. I have the need of a virtual
landline phone number prefered in Texas/USA which is forwarding calls
to a German landline phone number. I don't have VoIP equipment here so
that such solutions are excluded.

My preference is more less montly fee and rather high rates/minute due
to the fact that I am in a private mission and the solution is used
seldom.

Any ideas or experiences which provider can be recommended?
