is the signal tv send only in internal core ?

Yes the internal single wire of coaxial cable has the actual TV signal. The
wires or foil surrounding the center wire are used to shield the internal
wire from acting like an antenna and picking up local broadcast signals or
other interferrence.

It is possible for some systems to also pass DC voltages through the same
cable to power a remote signal amplifiers. The voltage would be blocked
prior to reaching your TV, but this kind of application is rare in a single
home installation.
