spend your time reading old stuff
and wondring how it should be, when
you could never really know how it was!
alot of my friends were killed by the great
evil, now i sit here most days pluged into
this damn laptop, sitting alone in my
one room apartment with basic cable.
you kids should forget about all this shit,
get out and live life while you still can!
2012 is just round the corner, you'll

hmmm... I don't recall an epidemic of "great evil" which killed 31337

as for your being plugged into your laptop [using BTOpenworld dial-up]
in you one room apartment with only basic cable. Poor, poor fellow.
Why haven't you hax0red your cable provider?

I think you must be looking for the 31337 d00dz in alt.2600... but
really, doesn't it get stuffy in that one little room? You definitely
need to get out more, after all 2012 is just around the corner.

Oh and while i appreciate the compliment about seeming younger than my
years and all I really think you need to get new glasses.

By the way why don't you show a little concern for your fellow man and
save the troll bait for the hungry?

You're done. Next.

It is my assumption that most Cyberpunkers are
much too busy Cyberpunking to even sub to this
list. I only recently re-subbed. Most my time
here has been used either making posts or
answering the lively replies.
Which accounts for a substantial percentage of
the time I spend on line. I spend more time in
the really real world doing stuff some people
call CP and some people (myself included) don't
call CP.
Tomorrow I'm VeeJaying at a party in some squatted
building. I'll be displaying retinal terror over
mainly monotonous and mainly very load beats.

I don't sit home at my apartment much, it's rather
boring.

I don't have cable, though a friend of mine keeps
telling me to get WiFi so he can hook me up with
free internet or something somehow.

None of my friends have ever been killed by a great
evil. Guess we're smarter than that.

And I just checked around the corner. There's no
2021 there, although I just filed a Problem Report
numbered somewhere in the 1200's.

You sir, could do with a nice cuppa you know what.

Haven't seen a 'barcode post' here in years (barcode's
was the first of this species of article that I noticed):

"I come here once a day and hear Middle class people rant
about how their a so called "Cyberpunk". I would just like
to know what make's you a Cyberpunk. I don't mean to put
anybody down but what do you people do that would make
you a Cyberpunk. My freinds and myself risk our freedom,
lives( well somtimes our lives), our peace of mind, and normal
human realation's in the pursuit of forbiden information. While
the people on this newsgroup read a few sci-fi books and have the
gall to classify themselves a cyberpunk. But yet when the true
Cyberpunk's get arrested you just sit their in your cozey lives and
let the Dog's rip us to shreds. Or you label us as criminal's,
and then come on this newsgroup and talk about what new Cyberpunk
music is out. Honestly do you people think that Billy Idiol is a
Cyberpunk, this man was Dancing with himself back in the eighties,
and now he's a cyberpunk. He's just out to make a buck, he seen a
big fad coming and got a foot hold, and that's how I think you people
treat it like a Fad. Think about it what where you doing before you
became a so called cyberpunk?" (11/7/94)

Hydrul may be referring to something that occured in an rpg
and not in the real world. Before showing up here, his posts
indicate he's into gaming.

I hope not. I'd like an explanation of "2012" and why we'll be sorry.

I'm guessing aliens, Time Wave Zero, Mayan calendar. Maybe he'll
enlighten us. I'm hoping that the aliens are going to sweep up
all the real cyberpunks into the mothership in a cyber-rapture
while the rest of us are left to cry in our beer.

. . . aww, come on! I'm so disapointed. I thought certainly that even
you could come up with better than the standard adolescent insult! You
just admitted that you can't counter his arguments, and provided an
indication as to your emotional age.

but what actually is a "cyberpunk"? is it
like a hacker or something? i just thought
cyberpunk was a genre. larry niven writes
some wicked cyberpunk short stroies and
i love Manga, as far as i know, Akira and
Battle Angel Alita are both cyberpunk and
they are my favorite films of all time.
I wasnt joking about 2012 though, i could
talk about that if you guys want, although
it doesnt really fit in with the crap i was
talking about in my first post.

how did you find out i was using bt openworld
and how did you know ive been posting
on games newsgroups?

your header. and they did a search for you in google (most likely, there
are other archives though none so complete the I know of). I personally
didn't feel like putting the effory into finding out that much, I'm
probably answering this out of pure boredom anyway.

A 'cyberpunk' isn't anything, or is no more or less than anything else.
Make up your own answer to The Question.

And I'll worry about 2012 somewhere around Dec 31, 23:59, 2011. Maybe a
little after that.

i assume [correct me if i'm wrong sourceror] was from a google lookup
in google groups.

this doesn't make you a cyberpunk. it makes you foolish. for many reasons.
but lets face it. no one will thank you for the truth. don't you ever read
between the lines?

While

better you than me.

Or you label us as criminal's,

perhaps you are? depends on what you're doing at the time. if you're
walking your dog then i will agree it is an injustice. if you're robbing a
bank, then suffer the consequences.

opinion. or have the cyberpunk nazis spoken again? and i really liked his
80's stuff!!!!!
