Does anybody remember what TV commercial had an offscreen chorus singing
this line in the 70s? I think maybe it was either Scope or Binaca, but
I'm not sure.

It was some kind of breath freshner and they asked how is your love life and I
vividly remember someone saying
"bring the kids, the dog, the grandmother"

Yes, it was Ultra Brite. Are they still making that stuff?

This thread reminded me of another commercial. Remember the Right
Guard ad where a person would open their medicine cabinet to grab their
deo, and that pudgy/cute guy in a towel was on the other side?

I wish TV Land would bring that retromercial series back! How many of
those were there? I can only think of about three - one where he had
his wife with him, the original . . . and a couple funny ones with just
him.

I think some of the best entertainment of the 70's were the Lite Beer from
Miller series of commercials...the ones where Bubba Smith liked the easy
opening cans!

That's Alka Seltzer

I'm not exactly certain, but I think that's Mr. Clean.

Maybe you should post this separately from this thread with it's own
"Help please" subject. You'd get a quicker answer. Good LUCK!!!!

Thanks to everybody who answered. Based on your suggestions, I did some
research and found out it was Ultra Brite in 1975.

There was this one kid in my school (not me!) who ran around, asking
all the teachers "How's your love life?". One particular teacher stumbled
all over herself to avoid snapping at the kid, "None of your biz!". . .

How about someone 'MPG old commercials and post them to a binary
group?

Yep, I remember. "Monaaaaa!"

TV Land did, indeed, rerun this one as a retromercial about a year or so
ago...But my favorite was the one in which the pudgy guy is dancing around and
saying "One shot, I'm good for the whole day!"

First one is Anacin, and second one is Ajax detergent (starring the "White
Knight").

Dang, didn't I *ever* go to the bathroom during the commercial break like the
rest of America did???
