According to Ron Johnson, President of Finger
Lakes Craftsmen, "If you've seen our other shows, then you'll want to see this
one. If you've missed those shows, then you'll want to see what you've
missed." With so many exhibitors, this is one of the 'Largest Indoor
Show Of Its Type In The Northeast.' Over 60% of the exhibits are totally
new, with many of the exhibitors having never participated in the Rochester area
before. And, with wider aisles and bigger booths, we're even better.
The Finger Lakes Craftsmen add, that with so many exhibits, plan to spend a few
hours in order to really see everything on display. Also, you'll do the
very best Christmas shopping and make the best selections when you buy direct,
from the maker.
The purpose of the show is to give quality local, and
far away, artists and craftsmen an opportunity to exhibit their works in fine
surroundings, and to better acquaint the public with their work. This
show, now proudly celebrating its 30th year, has become an annual event in the
Rochester area.
Show President Johnson states that their past shows
have drawn large attendance's, but need not worry, as the expanded free parking
area can more than accommodate everyone. However, the best times to
attend are either mid or late afternoon to avoid some of the past
congestion. In addition, some of the exhibitors were sold out before the
last show was over.
