Up here in the frozen north, we have had nothing but rain every day - a new
record well beyond anything ever recorded, so I was looking south at South
Africa reading the surfski articles and found a link to an article on the
need for fibreglass repairs on a surfski.

She who must be obeyed is going to South Africa for four months on a
scholarship to Northwestern University near Johannesburg, so I will be going
for a few weeks as well, but notwithstanding my love of kayaking, I do not
know if I will be trying to do some ocean kayaking or surfskiing.
