Jose, that was a wonderful article. You have demonstrated that we do
not have to go to Akamalavaram, Kalavamkotam or reveal the details of
puppy love to come up with enjoyable articles. Humor is omnipresent.
But most of us (Shall I use the term Arasikanmaar) fail to observe it.

Also, I admire your willingness to compliment contributors for their
good job. As an ardent ACK follower from day one, it is my observation
that Lekhikamaar get more attention and accolades than Lekhakanmaar.
Jose had referred to this situation (here is a quote from his article):

>The good old ack days! Those were the days when men were men
>and women were superwomen.. I miss those days.
>

My comment: You said it! In India, the eye of the needle is so designed
to allow passage of an average Indian male, but is too small for an
average Indian female. Net result: Average Indian girl in the US (I
mean, the University community) is of much superior quality than the
average Indian guy (men are men and women are superwomen). We men
forget to take this into account.........., invite misery upon us (Our
most humiliating defeat will be in the hands of the people we
underestimate most).

About Sudha: She is one person with whom I can talk for four hours,
disagree on everything, and then leave with a smile. Apart from being
one of the most brilliant people I ever met in my life, she also makes
the best dosa and sambar available in all of Pittsburgh, and retains the
typical Malayalee Penkutty look in even the most casual Western out fit.

Awaiting the remaining portion out of the recycling bin.....
