A HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT FREIGHT DEPOT BUILT BY FORMER SLAVES HAS BEEN
DEMOLISHED
Arkansas preservationist Gregory Ferguson said that the building's
demolition was done in an "underhanded" and "reprehensible" manner.
Ferguson was at the federal courthouse in Little Rock, filing a legal
challenge to the demolition of the historical freight depot Wednesday,
when a city representative informed the court that the building had just
been destroyed.
"We had a hearing set for 1:45 p.m., but by that time a witness for the
city who was on site testified that the Choctaw Freight Depot was
essentially destroyed," he said.
"While I was in the process of filling out my [legal challenge], the
demolition contractor's huge front-end loader machines were tearing out
the heart of the Choctaw Freight Depot."
The freight depot was built at the end of the 19th century by former
slaves.
The structure is a showpiece for at least two African-American stone and
brick craft skills, according to Ferguson.
BLACK HERITAGE SITE IS USELESS
It was reported in September that the depot was "of no use to anybody."
African-American preservationist Susan Branch said earlier this month
that they must have been "misinformed," and she called the planned
demolition a "disgrace."
"The city has very few identified black historic properties," she said.
The representative apologized earlier this month for the planned
demolition. "I am just sorry," he said.
He acknowledged that the depot's demolition could cause controversy
among blacks.
ANOTHER UNDERHANDED ACTION
Ferguson says the demolition occurred without notice and "despite the
fact that the city comptroller told us that very morning that he had not
approved the contract for demolition." He said the Little Rock city
comptroller had assured him the building could not be demolished yet
because "there had been no performance bond posted as required by the
city and other preliminaries required under the contract had not been
fulfilled."
He explained that the demolition crew "went directly for the historic
part of the structure and didn't bother with the surrounding part
first."
"As soon as they had done their dirty deed, the workman left, and have
not returned Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and won't be back until
Monday."
Ferguson said the process by which they handled this issue have left him
with "bitter taste in my mouth."
"Through this process, I was witness to some of the most underhanded,
reprehensible, dirty and immoral conduct I have ever had the misfortune
to observe."
He hopes to continue the legal challenge surrounding the "section 106
review," which is part of the National Historic Preservation Act. The
foundation has not yet conducted the required review, which calls for an
examination of the property for any items of archeological, tribal, or
historical significance.
He hopes to be able to subpoena officials "to get them under oath to
tell not only what happened regarding this, but also to ask questions as
to the funding sources."
If the foundation is found to have intentionally circumvented the
required section 106 review, that could lead to the "federal death
knell" for the construction project, according to Ferguson.

hard to classify. All nine mummies look European.
The very first pharaoh, Narmer, also known as Menes, looks very
European, The same can be said for Khufu's cousin Hemon, who designed the
Great Pyramid of Giza. A computer-generated reconstruction of the face of

All IQ tests have proven that Whites are on average much more

A decade later, when the children reached the age of 17, a follow-up
study was conducted that that again included IQ measurements. As they
matured, Black children had dropped back to an average of 89 in IQ, which is
the average IQ for Blacks in the region of the United States where the study
was done. The White adopted children scored an average of 106 in IQ, 17
points higher than the Black children, which is consistant with traditional
studies of Black and White IQ differences. In line with genetic theory the
half-White, half-Black Mulatto adopted children scored almost exactly

denied.
1) The DNA of caucasians have the highest concentration of recessive
genes than any other ethinc group.

caucasian.
3) There are more non-whites (Black, Asians, etc) on this planet than
there are whites. So in a global view of the population, whites are the
true minority.
4) If the people of this planet lived in harmony with a true "One Love"
philosophy, caucasian would be absorbed into the world population within two
generations...there would be no more caucasians.
This is something that caucasians have known since they began interacting
with other ethnic groups...especially when white men left Europe and got
"friendly" with the native women of any non-European region. This
knowledge has driven you to "take precausions". These precausions
include; theft of knowledge, theft of land, underhanded dealings, rape, murder,
oppression and destruction of property. Those civilizations which you could not
completely destroy, you twisted the facts to make it look like you were
responsible for development of those civilizations. Then try you try to
justify these crime against humanity by taking the stance that you were
ordained by God to do so.

In the past White people built colonies in Africa and brought
civilization there. The Blacks were much better off with schools and
hospitals and a lot of food. They were exporting food. But the liberals
didn't like White people being in charge so they put a stop to the colonies.
And they brought
the starvation and misery back to Africa.
The liberal plan of just giving food to the Blacks also causes more
suffering. It always causes them to greatly increase their population and
then there are a lot more people starving and needing even more food.

You're still basing your statements on conjecture not fact. There was
not a large caucasian population in Egypt until after the Greeks had
invaded the region. The color of the Egyptian paintings leans more
toward a darker skinned complextion as opposed to a lighter one.
You are still selectively reading the posts which is appearent by the
way you chop up my paragraphs with a response without reading the whole
thing. But in response to whatnyou said.
1) You said that inner city was a code word for Black area. This a false
generalization. Even though you may find a high concentration of the
inner cities of America, they do not represent the total Black population
in an urban area. There are plenty of predominantly Black suburban areas
which are highly comparable to White areas. Because the families that
live in these areas have the same income level as their White
counterparts. Maybe you don't live in a city where you can see this
example.
2) If you ONLY drive into areas where you know there are Black with low
income you will ONLY see what you've described. If you were to drive
into areas where I know there are Whites with low income you will find
the same thing plus a few abandoned cars on the lawn...also a large
majority of the homes are mobile.
