BLOOD CIRCUS was a phony wrestling movie shot by John Corso and some
other DP over the course of (I think) 4 days. It was in editing forever. Then "Mr. Santo Gold" was indicted for Postal Mail Fraud(or something like that)-the article is somewhere in my files(lost). The Movie disappeared. A couple years later I was working at a NYC Lab(Precision)-right before they went out of business and accidentily walked in as the Lab was transfering it to tape because as I was told---they were going to try to sell it to recover money owed. The 20 minutes I saw was unwatchable. In the middle of wrestling bouts(lame and buckets of fake bloood)the film would cut away to title cards and a narrator would ramble away about some metaphysical and morat technibabble. Made no sense. I left. The film disappeared. The tape disappeared. The Lab went out of business. Don't wait for it.
