Subject: Victim dir. Basil Dearden s/ Dirk Bogarde
I don't know if anybody has been paying close attention to Louie Anderson
lately, but he was being blackmailed by a viscious young man to keep quiet
about Louie offering to pay for sex.
I got to thinking about how ahead of its time the movie Victim was?
For those who never saw it, the movie details a group of evil blackmailers who
are blackmailing homosexuals. After the suicide  of one man, the onetime lover
(Dirk Bogarde) decides to help bring these blackmailers to justice.
The movie was a very scary jolt for a film, and I was curious about anybody
else's opinion about this film.
Cult status or just mind candy murder mystery with the novelty of the then
taboo subject of homosexuality.
Mike
