I was perusing the HD movie listings here in San Francisco, and came
across this:

I wonder if this is from the same transfer that will be used for next
year's Blu-ray disc...

Probably not. I've seen a RHPS recording from a HDTV source at a couple
of torrent sites, and it was an obvious upscale from the DVD transfer
unfortunately.

Considering that as great as it was for the year 2000, the DVD
transfer is now 10 years old, I'm pretty sure we'll see a brand new,
lean, mean, clean, pristine, sparklin' transfer for the Blu-Ray, and
hopefully it will retain everything that the 2000 DVD got RIGHT and
correct what little was wrong with it.
