Supposedly, this is the original jukebox from RHPS. The seller also
claims the jukebox to have been owned by John Beard, assistant art
director for Shock Treatment. It's only $10,000 (cheap)!

The majority of discussion around it is that if it is real (which
there is still some question) it has been refurbished to the point of
being de-valued.

I'd buy it but I a) just paid off a lot of debt and still working on
the last bit b) am planning a wedding c) am buying a house. If it is
authentic, he picked the wrong time to sell it.

Larry.

I like how in the description it reads "A Rock-Ola Model 1452, made in
1955, then specially customized in 1980 for the making of the movie
with electric blue bodywork and inset mirror stars."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the film made in 1975? Or is this
an error on the part of the seller? Or was it re-used in another
film?

It also claims to have been used in the film "The Rocky Horror Show."

For ten grand, the LEAST they could do is get the title of the film
right.

It could possibly be the real thing, but if it is it has been
"restored" to the point of being destroyed.

I wouldn't pay $100 for it, let alone ten g's.
