AZRocky is Back, Come As You Are is a sellout!

Hello all!

A few months ago I posted the rotten news that the theatre I owned,
and where we performed, was forced to close, not only leaving Rocky &
Repo homeless, but also jobless since, you know, it was my job/
livelihood/business....

Well, I'm pleased and proud to announce that last night, we gave a
most triumphant return with a sellout double feature (over 300 for
each show!)--and making it that much more significant was that fact
that we are now back on Mill Ave in Tempe (Phoenix's "college
suburb"), a street where some of our most legendary times in the
distant past occurred, but where we haven't had a chance to return to
in over ten years. Our new theatre, the Madcap, is an awesome indie/
arthouse very much in line with what I tried to do at Chandler
Cinemas, and while for now we're only booked through the end of
October, I'm hopeful we will have a long term future there.

I'm extremely proud of my cast, Come As You Are, as well as the many
CAYA and BB&G vets who attended and performed as well as some of our
LA sisters who made the drive.

So if anyone is planning to be in Phoenix in the near future, drop us
a line, we'd love to have you at our show. AZRocky is back!
