So: who will be in , and what are you guys doing after the
auditions? If nothing else, this might be a good time to get together
and hang out. If anyone else is interested, Im going to show people
around the east and west village before RH at midnight ( gay bars,
straight bars, cafes, head shops, clothes shops/material stores,
halloween places, book & record places, all the usual touristy
stuff ).
See ya Sat :)

Hey Bill,
What the details of this Blu Ray Audition? I've been reading about it
on facebook and here but have not heard any other details.
Details as I know them:
People auditioning should have screen accurate costumes, screen
accurate performance, and be free to travel to LA for 8 days of taping
if selected. Hotel and transportation will be provided. Auditions are
this Sat morning starting with TRIXIE auditions at 10:30, lasting all
day, per character catagory. ( I dont have the exact info on hand, but
trixies are first, Brad and Janets at a certain time, Riffraff and
Magenta try outs later in the day, etc etc etc.) The location is right
near the Empire State building, I will post all the info tomorrow for
those that need it.
Im going to be there most of the day because Im playing tour guide
to friends like Fred ( yays Fred! ) from Chicago and a few other
people. The main concensus is to come in, do the auditions, then head
out into NYC for food and shopping and site seeing, then some people
are leaving for NJ to see the Home of Happiness show, others are
staying in NYC to see the NYC show ( both great casts, so everyone
will have a great time no matter what state they end up in at
midnight, ya cant go wrong either way.)
People that dont meet the qualifications for PERFORMING may still
want to come down anyway. For example: Im not going to try out because
I dont have a screen accurate costume for RH any longer ( But my Bert
Schnick is still tops :) , nor am I free to travel for 8 days, but I
was asked to come down and do commentary. Other people are heading in
just to see old friends they have not seen in a while, etc.
Brian, with your knowledge of RH, you are an asset they will want
to include, I would send them an e mail.
Its going to be fun to see how this all finally comes out: finding
people with accurate costumes, accurate performance, AND who are free
for 8 days will be interesting.
See ya Saturday, kids! :)
