From "All Those Years Ago" (which George actually wrote for Lennon)

Deep in the darkest night
I send out a prayer to you
Now in the world of light
Where the spirit free of lies
And all else that we despised

They've forgotten all about God
He's the only reason we exist
Yet you were the one that they said was so weird
All those years ago
You said it all though not many had ears
All those years ago
You had control of our smiles and our tears
All those years ago..

RIP George. :(~~

Peace, Love, and RO'B,

Very nice.

I was very sorry to hear the news.

It seems inappropriate to note this, but please do notice that the empty
Beatle boots are indeed the style that Riff wears in the film.

I was thinking (it happens occasionally)...

This weekend, how about a moment of silence (as in no AP) during
the Zen Room scene aka The George Harrison Room?

Around these parts we always called it the John Lennon room.

Now I feel old.

The reason why it's called the George Harrison room is because GH
filmed the video to "I've Got My Mind Set On You" in a similar
room. Of course, that was 15 years ago and through the wonderful
evolution of AP lines, someone got their Beatles mixed up and it
stuck. (This isn't the first time I've heard it called the John
Lennon room) I guess we'll just have to add mid-80s MTV to the
mandatory viewing list for Rocky...

I thought it was due to all the sitar playing that happened when Scotty left
it.'

Heyyy...I AM that old too you know.
I'm just saying...it's always been called the John Lenon room everywhere I've
heard it.

I thought it was because of the sitar too.
Like the scene in Yellow Submarine..."George, what are you doing up there ?"

I feel so sick about George, but in his own words "All Things Must Pass". He
was not afraid of death, but rather welcomed it with open arms. And whereever
he is now, he is free from the suffering he endured the last few years of his
life. I can't think of a better person to have as a role model for
perserverence to achieve goals, to believe in yourself, and to dedicate your
life to a higher purpose.
He will always be in my heart, my mind, and my CD player =)
Love you, George

Shit, I'm not that old and I remember that video! I remember when it
came out!
The differece is, I think, those who had cable 15 years ago, and those
who didn't have cable. ;-)

And speaking of which, this has been bothering me.......is there
another version of that video? One with a little ballerina doll that
comes out of a crane machine or something and then turns into a real
person? Or am I thinking of another video altogether that just came
out at the same time. (Or am I just on crack here?) ;-)
