All...

Haven't seen anyone post this yet. Just discovered that Graham Jarvis has
passed away....he was the Crim/Narrator for the 1974 Roxy production that led
to the film (and he's on that album) and I believe he also played at the 1975
Belasco production in NYC. He was 72. Here's a link to a story on him; you'll
also find a substantial entry at www.imdb.com

http://www.wxii12.com/entertainment/2125415/detail.html

Rest in peace, Graham....

:-(

Truly a bummer. Jarvis was a fantastic character actor, and he's always been
one of my favourite recorded Narrators.

Every RH source that lists the Broadway cast always lists the Narrator as being
played by William Newman, so I always assumed Graham didn't move to Broadway,
but I recently purchased Playbill from the Belasco/Broadway show that lists him
in the cast as Narrator....maybe he didn't do the whole run, as short as it
was.

RIP G.J.
