Hello all.
I posted a message on here over 2 years ago asking for any help on finding
information on Cariane Gauze. I only got one response, so I am asking again. I
know that she died, but I don't know the details of what happened. I was good
friends with her in school and we just had our 10 year reunion. We have a
website and I want to make a memorial folder of pictures of her through the
years. I have some on there already but would like to have more. I am asking
that any of you willing to share your pictures of Cariane, please email me at
hpm...@cox-internet.com . I will take anything you have. I am also looking for
her obit. I have the one that was in our newspaper but I was hoping someone
might have a better one from there.
I know there was no memorial service for her. I have not been able to locate
her mother. I am trying to get information from her foster mom. A bunch of us
want to plant a tree in her memory in the spring.
Anyone who can tell me anything or who can send me pictures will be greatly
appreciated. Cariane was a special person and a good friend to me. The last
time I saw her was at graduation, where I have the last photo taken of her here.
thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Pauline Moore

Wasn't she in Queerios? I hope someone can help you. I wish I could. Good
luck.

Don't have the obituary, but I did scan the mention of the car crash in the
Austin paper from the day after:

Here's a good non-Rocky photo of her. Was taken at my house, with her son Davin.

And a decent picture of her playing Magenta:

There should be several other photos of her in the photo gallery from that night:

May be other galleries with her in them, but I can't find them right now. After
she died, the Queerios cast had a private memorial get together at the home of
one of her best friends from Ft. Hood. Am not aware of anything her family did.
Am similarly unsure of exactly what happened to Davin after her death, since I
know there were a couple of different parties involved in that. Hope some of
that helps you.

I just read your post, and it looks like Shawn referred you to all the
pics I would have. I just want to add that Cariane was a wonderful
person and I loved performing with her.

I wish I had seen this long ago. Cariane was my foster daughter and she just dropped off the map...until about a year before she died. She sent me a message and told me she wanted me to take care of Davin if anything happened to her. I didn't hear of her death until way later...so didn't do anything about Davin. I feel so guilty...should have followed up.
