Fantastic. I hope you got to do some fun things. There were a lot of
Easter Egg hunts for the kids around here.
One at the Presidential Museum for kids is done every year and others we
usually only here a little about.
Easter lilies were on sale at the grocery store for 3 dollars a pot the next
few days. You can not raise them in a pot after Easter around here so they
had to sell them while they still looked nice.
Those that bought them and had a nice patch of ground to put them in can get
them to flower every year and sometimes twice a year but not at Easter
unless they dig the bulbs up again and force them to flower when they want.
I know that can be done but have never tried it.
My tangerine trees are growing pretty well and soon will have to be moved
out from under the chair to some place with enough light for them. Citrus
like to be wet as you probably know. Well wet in comparison to many plants.
There is also something else coming up in there which might be blueberry
bushes or blackberry brambles or raspberries. I am not sure which yet but
weeds do not have a way in there so it is probably something edible.
Many of my plants just grow from vegetables I get from the grocery store and
do not get around to eating before they sprout. As long as they continue to
grow they get to live and most of them have edible leaves as well as roots.
Of course it is nice to have some greenery as usually they are nice and calm
but occasionally one gets pushy and starts moving things around. With
onions for example the furniture is OK but the blinds might be moved for
more light. Can't blame them. Who wants to sit in the dark all day.
