The lizard came out of the garbage disposal and when I checked a moment ago
she was cowering anxiously up against a soda bottle in the sink trying to
find somewhere to run to. I turned off the light again and left her to calm
down and climb up a wall or something to a place she feels safer.
She is much better at keeping any bug population down than chemicals and
more entertaining as well.

Heh. Reminds me of my time in the islands. Plenty of lizards there.
Pretty little mosquito eating things. We generally left them alone, or
admired them sunning themselves. The male lizards in the islands had
brilliantly colored throat pouches they'd display whenever they were trying
to get cozy with a lady lizard.

All my best,

Cool, mosquito eaters are great when there are west nile virus, dengue
fever, malaria, encephalitis, and who knows what else.
It must have been really beautiful there as well.

We only had to worry about malaria and dengue fever in the VI. The latter,
by the way, is NO fun at all. My Dad got dengue once and it really ruined
him there for a while.

And yes, the scenery there is beautiful. Getting a tad crowded these days,
but the islands, and the water, are wonderful.

I am glad that he was able to overcome it and hope he has no after effects.
